End the "what should we eat?" debate

"I don't know, what do you want?" The food wheel ends that conversation. It starts with popular meals, but you can replace them with your own favourite dishes, local restaurants or the meals you can cook at home tonight.

Everyone in the group can add one option, then spin. Agree before spinning that the wheel has the final word, and dinner is decided.

More ways to use the food wheel

Use it to plan meals for the week, pick a new cuisine to try, choose a recipe from your cookbook, decide on a dessert, or pick the restaurant for a team lunch. Families use it to let kids choose a meal in a way that feels fair to everyone.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add my own restaurants?

Yes. Delete the sample foods and type your own meals or restaurants, one per line. They are saved in your browser for next time.

Can I make one option more likely?

Yes. Add your favourite option more than once. Each line gets its own equal-sized slice.

Is the result really random?

Yes. The winner is chosen with your browser's built-in cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues) before the wheel starts turning. Every entry has exactly the same chance, and the spin animation simply shows that result.

Are my entries saved or shared with anyone?

Your entries are saved only in your own browser so they are still there next time. They are not uploaded to our servers. If you use the Share button, the entries are placed inside the link itself, so only people you send the link to can see them.
